We are a gallery specializing in traditional Chinese luxury art and are committed to promoting Chinese traditional luxury art to the world. Zibo Yuyu Arts & Crafts Co’s main art products are: Chinese interior painting art and glass sculpture art.
Chinese interior painting is a unique art form in China. It mainly uses the mirror principle to paint in reverse directions inside glass containers, mainly snuff bottles. It is known as “the exquisite art in which all beauty is held in the hand.” Inner painting reached its peak during the Qing Dynasty in China. In the self-portraits of Qing emperors such as Kangxi, Yongzheng, and Qianlong, scenes of inner paintings holding snuff bottles appeared. In ancient China, unlike the snuff bottle art made of ceramics, the inner-painted art was exclusively for the royal family and was rarely seen among the people. Because it is painted in reverse, it is extremely difficult to make and the production time cost is extremely high. Therefore, in China, interior paintings are known as “China’s top luxury artworks”.
Glass engraving is different from porcelain engraving, partly because glass is more fragile than porcelain and is more complex to engrave. On the other hand, in ancient China, glass has always been a royal material and was prohibited from being used by the public. Therefore, glass carvings are rarer than porcelain carvings. This has also resulted in very few artists mastering this skill. However, the gloss and light transmittance of such works Sex is incomparable to porcelain, and it can give the viewer a psychedelic beauty. A qualified glass sculpture requires at least 2 years from raw material collection to firing, from painting to final carving. If a mistake is made during the engraving process, the work will be void. Therefore, because of some of the particularities of this artwork, it is also known as the “Emperor’s Fragile Artwork”.
This gallery has many years of experience in the art industry. It has 5 contracted glass sculpture collectors and 3 contracted interior painting artists. One of them is the youngest interior painting artist in contemporary China and is also one of the few female interior painting artists in China. Today, With the average age of Chinese interior painting artists being 55 years old, she has injected fresh blood into China’s interior painting art industry, and her works have also brought the art form of interior painting to a new level.
